Resilience Program
We have created a resilience program to teach youth and adults about how to be resilient in a virtual group therapy setting. We are first working to partner with charter schools to bring the resilience program to at-risk youth. Then, we will adapt the program to other demographics such as adults and the LGBTQ+ community.
Our program consists of the following:
· 6 weeks of instruction for 75-minute sessions
· In a virtual setting or in-person setting
· With the following objectives:
· Main Goal: For each participant to define resilience based on their own experience and believe they possess it.
· Objective: Retain knowledge about the effects of trauma and resilience risk factors on mental health.
· Objective: Participants will cultivate sustainable resilience.
